2024 Is off to a great start

So far this year has been quite exciting. After a hiatus at the first of the year when we traveled to South America for an extended visit, I have resumed playing regularly. I have had two gigs at Nella Terra Cellars and am back in a semi-regular rotation at Santana Row. I also am starting to get some gigs via the Gigsalad website. I have been adding some new pop material, and I’m spinning back up my classical repertoire. On a personal growth level, I’ve started taking jazz guitar lessons with Mason Rezavi, a wonderful player who teachs at SJSU and is friends with my classical instructor, Steve Lin.

I’ve also made some major changes to my website. I realized it rendered poorly on a mobile phone, so I’ve adapted it to be more mobile friendly.

Holiday Performance at Santana Row – 12/15

Don’t miss my Holiday Extravaganza!!

I will be performing my special Holiday Program at Santana Row on Friday 12/16 from noon to 4pm.

I will be back at the Oak Tree Lounge, next to Blue Bottle Coffee at the corner of Olin and Santana.

So do a little holiday shopping, then grab a coffee and chill-ax to some classical Christmas tunes.

Note: I am also scheduled for Friday 12/21, however the forecast looks wet.  This may be your last chance in 2023!

Final October performance

It was a great time playing at Santana Row last Friday evening. It was a rare evening performance there for me. It got a bit chilly but the reception was warm and my fingers didn’t complain.

If the weather permits, I’ll be back the next two Fridays in the day from noon to 4 at the Park Valencia. This is the stage next to Maggiano’s Little Italy. Seems appropriate, no?
